VFR Versicherungs-, Finanz- und Riskmanagement GmbH is an independent Swiss insurance broker based in Worb. Since 2015 we have looked after private individuals, families and businesses in insurance, finance and risk matters — from the first analysis to claims settlement. We are tied to no company and compare more than 20 providers.
For us, responsibility means keeping the dossier going even when there is nothing to sell. We continuously monitor deadlines, policy changes and premium comparisons and get in touch before things become urgent. Every client has a fixed contact person — no call centre, no queue.

Abdulkerim Kilicaslan bridges two worlds: he builds VFR’s digital tools — from the customer portal to this website — and as Head of Marketing makes sure people hear about us. His standard: technology nobody needs to explain, and appearances that stick.
Murmi
Our marmot and longest-serving early warning system. It whistles as soon as a premium increase appears on the horizon — and has never slept through one in all these years. Everything else is another matter: from October to April, Murmi is unavailable. It calls this ‘hibernation’; we call it accrued holiday. Responsible for: giving timely warnings. Not responsible for: coffee.

VFR actively supports sports clubs that share our values. We currently sponsor the Schwimmsport Gemeinschaft Basel and FC Türkgücü Basel — strengthening not only sporting achievement but also social responsibility.
Responsibility that goes beyond the policy
As a broker we manage contracts that run for decades. That outlook also shapes how we run our own business: long-term client relationships instead of quick sales, training people in-house instead of a staffing carousel, and placing orders in the region wherever possible.
We keep documents digitally in our own system. That saves paper, but above all it shortens the paths: policies, quotes and claim notifications sit in one place and remain within reach even when your adviser is out and about.
